Position: Part-Time Front of House Associate

Starting August 2024

 

as echelon continues to grow, so too does our team. we have two movement spaces running concurrently, our large spin room (studio 2) and our wee movement space (studio 1) that now hosts stretch, strength, barre and pilates classes. we offer in-house nutrition services and our psychotherapy rooms and practitioner rooms will open upstairs at the end of 2024. we have corporate wellbeing partners and host private events for groups of friends and co-workers. at echelon, we specialise in body-affirming movement and mental wellbeing and we hire passionate individuals who are excited to play their part in promoting a safe, inclusive, one-of-a-kind wellbeing space in dublin.

The Role: Front of House Associate

As a Front of House Associate, you will be the first point of contact for our members and will facilitate an unparalleled customer experience. We aim to provide an exceptional service at every step, from client check-in, to set-up, to overall experience. You will play an integral role in each step of the client experience in the studio. Your integrity as a brand ambassador for our company will be palpable, as you embody our vision of authenticity, community and wellbeing. At echelon, we pride ourselves in being a fitness space that is free of diet culture and objectification and we hold our values close in everything we do. Our new team members will hold those same values close in all their interactions with our community.

Duties:

Concierge: Welcome all clients, assist with check-in, advise on bike set-up, shoe size, hydration needs, and provide brief but thorough tour of amenities.

Administration and Retail: Answer calls and respond to general enquiries online and in person. Utilise point of sale system, process payments for merchandise, and assist with bookings online or in person

Front of House: Prepare the studio for the start of each session, thoroughly refresh between sessions, and re-set at the close of each session; thoroughly clean and tidy shower and toilet areas between sessions and at close of sessions; re-stock vanity and shower products; liaise with delivery of laundry pick-up/drop-off; work collaboratively with the echelon crew when required, particularly assisting instructors during busy periods.

Brand Ambassador: Authentically communicate our body-affirming ethos in deeds, words and manner. Provide clients with an exceptional experience at all touch points during their engagement with our services.

Corporate Wellbeing Facilitator:  Having partnered with several businesses on a monthly and quarterly basis for team building and team-social events, we host exceptional corporate wellbeing events. You will provide full oversight and management of these events. Your role will expand to include acquisition of new corporate partnerships.

We are seeking two individuals for these part time roles. Each role is two half-days mid-week (either 6.30am-10am or 5pm to 8.30pm) and one half day on a weekend (9.30am-12pm).
